Error - Screen Capture Manager (v1.9 beta)

I get the following error when attempting to launch the screen capture manager:

I just tried this on v1.8c and it bailed as well.  Last version I could get it to work on was v1.7

Follow up:  I just noticed screen capture was automatically dumping a time-stamped PNG file to C: drive on my XP box.  It works...just not as you might think it would or as it used to.
