I have noticed that when creating http connections that terminals adds port and path termination characters to the connection string making the path incorrect.

As an example an initiat connection url of http://serveraddress/subsite becomes http://serveraddress:80//subsite.

I have not been able to edit the connection string. I have also noticed that the https protocol makes the same amendment and uses port 80 as the default. I notice that when editing the https connection string that the default port 80/ string is amended to port 443 but for every edit attempt an additional / is imposed into the connection string

I would appreciate any assistance that could be provided?

It is already reported issue. To avoid, always provide port in the URL. The URL is valid, and the port will be stored correctly. Use this approach for both Http and Https connections.

Thank you for the response. That appears to work.
