Keyboard Shortcuts

I'm new to Terminals but have been a Terminal Server/RDP user since NT 4.0 TS betas. What's driving me nuts is the hijacking of local desktop keyboard shortcuts. For example, I need the ability to move between applications running on my desktop AND back to my RDP sessions, that means I require the full use of Alt-Tab to work locally not in an RDP session (RDP sessions have their own keyboard shortcuts that Terminals seems to have totally ignored, like Alt-Page Up/Down does that Alt-Tab does. For someone new to RDP that's fine, but for someone who has used it since before NT 4.0 Terminal Server shipped, this is a real problem. I don't see any options to restore or utilize official RDP keyboard shortcuts. Without those my productivity drops significantly. Even tools like GoTo Assist allow me to decide where desktop keyboard shortcuts go. Am I just missing something?

There is button "Grab input" on standard toolbar (Ctrl+G).

That's nice, except it's not global. I want this disabled 100% of the time without having to do CTRL-G in every session.
