Version 3.5 - Release
Other Available Downloads
Changes since version 3.4:
- No changes in database (use database from release 3.0)
- No upgrade of configuration, passwords, credentials or favorites
- See also upgrade notes for release 3.0
Great Product, but release has an issue. You may need to restore your favorites by copying the [AppInstallDir]\Data folder from the install location to your users\[your login]\AppData\Local\Robert_Chartier\Terminals\Data folder.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. A few minor issues, but nothing major. I use it as my primary RDP client. (Unlike a different reviewer, I did not lose my settings and favorites when upgrading -- keep in mind, though, that Terminals saves settings and favorites in its Program Files directory, not in your user profile folder...)

Works as well as the previous release. Upgraded and didn't loose any of my settings

Upgrade went seamless for me. No loss of any connections nor credentials. I haven't actually gone through all functions, but I made sure I was still able to connect to everything. I'll update if any issues, but my experience has been that this is an excellent product!

Installs with zero problems for me. I did not lose any connections, though that might be an issue for others. Before you post a 1 star, negative review calling Terminals junk because something went wrong for you with this release, check the discussions page or attempt to contact the author. It seems incredibly shortsighted and rude of someone to slam Terminals because they can't be bothered to put forth any effort to help themselves first, especially since Terminals is freeware.

Just love it. Clean, simple and direct.

I love it, I was a big fan of mremote, then mRemoteNg. Terminals has all the features those had, plus a lot more like network scan for example, very useful.
Thumbs up for those guys, I feel this tool was made by people who are using remote desktop a lot with testing virtual environments. its all I needed! thanks for your work guys :)

Great product, use it everyday. Only issue is SSHv2 doesn't appear to be supported. Multiple issues posted in the forums, hopefully that'll be resolved soon, because I'm using putty for that.
Thanks for providing this - helps make things much more efficient!

Excellent and mature product! Thank you very much for the effort put forth to make administrators lives like mine easier. I have many people who need to connect to a number of servers and using SQL to facilitate the connections will be awesome. I've donated and will do so for each license we deploy. Thanks again!
Ooh, and for those of you who complain, realize the application is free and a work of passion and stop being an asshat. Thanks.

Wrong way, too complex coding for so simple tasks.
This product was one of my daily tools.
Now it's crash after crash and very difficult do do a debug with so complex calls.
Now is not useful, just junk. For me, Terminals was killed by the project leader.
My lost, i have to search for another project.

Thanks for this work, i use it every days.

Stability is a joke. It takes 15 seconds to find non-working functionality (SSH for example...).
Promising, but doesn't deliver.

Excelent!! But, no yet ready to create sub folders with the same name for conexions. Please, fix it this in the next version.

Good release. Relatively stable. Does crash from time to time when using SSH sessions. Very nice product.

Good work, like it better than Microsoft's Remote Desktop Manager as you can hide the left Favorites menu and just right click to open list of servers to connect to. Better use for screen estate as it's almost full screen. Hope the Grab function would stick - it seems to turn off every now and then. Also hoping for support for the Dynamic Resolution in the future.

Causes my Domain Joined Win 7 Ent x86 computer to lock up for periods of time.
Also will not pass Smart Card credentials, at least I can't figure out how to make it work.....so useless for me since we are Smart Card enforced on 99.99% of our computers.
But I sure wish it would work.

Way faster than mremote !
some features still missing (ineritance) but appart that it's fully working software.

Whilst this is an excellent tool and it is my main RDP management application I also had an issue with all of my credentials disappearing.
Luckily I had the \data\ folder backed up and I was able to recover all the information.

Windows 7. SSH not working in either 3.5 or 3.4. ( I tried the various work arounds which didnt help). RSA key generation not working. (dsa working fine). Really needs putty or kitty integration.
Gone back to mremoteng. Shame...
on Aug 1, 2014 at 7:35 PM
Same issue - upgraded and 2/3rds of my connections disappeared, including saved passwords.
on Apr 30, 2014 at 2:43 PM
Not stable - all my RDP connection entries are gone and 3.5 won't import them from the 3.4 XML file. Thanks for nothing - you should have warned people that connection definitions would be removed during the upgrade.
on Apr 28, 2014 at 3:20 PM
Unbelievable junk, lost my passwords connections are broken, why the hell was this released in this state as a "stable" release? This tool is awesome but not when an upgrade destroys my saved connections, got to go to another option because I can't rely on this.

Opera does not support ClickOnce X
To install this application, save it and then open it. Opening it directly from Opera will not work correctly.
