Working for a large commercial IT operations department with many servers and desktops, it would be nice to be able to navigate via a tree the current MS Active Directory of "computers" and be able to doulble click to connect, right click "add to favourites..." them, or drag and drop them to a tag.

The AD tree should be split by OU or by OS type (so you get all the Windows 2003 seperated from the XP worksations.

You should also be able to search by computer name.

Sounds like a good idea to me... One thing I might add to that would be to have a setting that makes the top of the tree a specific OU. This would be useful for example if you only admin servers in a specific department and do not want to drill down all the way to your branch of the AD.

This feature should probably be developed as a generic way of listing servers for different connection types... In this case AD would be the source for RDP servers, where another connection type may also support a list of some sort in the future.
