Hi

Does anyone know how to create a RAS connection. When I try I get this:

Any ideas?

You first need to create the RAS Connection in windows networking. Then in terminals, when you setup a new RAS connection, you select the existing connection name from the list. (The label beside the list says computer which may be a little confusing as it is the connection name it requires, rather than the name of the computer you are connecting to)

It you are getting the 'cannot load dialog', then it must be attempting to display the standard windows dial up connection box (eg asking for a username and password) .

'The system could not find the phonebook entry for this connection' would suggest the connection name is incorrect.

Thanks for the clarification. Following your instructions corrected where I was going wrong. I had not seen the drop down on the side before.
